Before starting Coval, I led the evaluation job infrastructure team at Waymo. I coded the first versions of our dataset storage and other foundational simulation systems, and my team built all of the dev tools for launching and running evals. This experience taught us that automated simulation and evaluation are critical to trusting agents with impactful tasks across industries.
At Coval, we believe great developer tools are built on two fundamental pillars: deep expertise in observability infrastructure and an unwavering commitment to user experience. We’ve assembled a founding team with extensive experience in building complex observability systems and creating intuitive developer interfaces.
